i got an adblocker for spotify but there is still the gray box there, does anyone know a way to get rid of this without using premium?

Hope you're doing great!

I'd would not recommend using a ad blocker for Spotify and there's no way of removing that box.

Spotify tries hard to bring music to everyone, and most importantly is free. To keep it free, users either join Premium by getting plenty of great features or watch ads.

By doing so, you're only damaging Spotify.
