My Question or Issue
Why this happening what are these things with kanji for advertising 広告 they cant be deleted from playlist and clicking on them redirects they player many times to very dark and twisted stuff, it like my account is hacked and they can now control the music/ect they want me to listen to.
Also why is the web site now completely in Japanese even though the primary language in my web browser is set to English why did it changed into Japanese can't it be changed back to English.

The default language on the app and Web Player is usually set by the region you're located in. However, as @Jeremy mentioned previously, this system language can be changed in the app setting by hitting your profile name (in the upper-right corner) > Settings > Language.
Since this process can be done from the desktop app and from the Web player as well, we'd recommend changing the language again to see if you can still see those rows bellow your tracks with the kanji translated or not.
If the issue persists, include in your next response a screenshot showing what you can see in that section after changing the language.
We'll be on the lookout.
45 views and no replies, does anyone use spotify in Japanese Language, are these kanji 広告 meaning advertising in playlist normal because these were not there in the playlist when the site was in English.
Hi there @uxYUYux,
Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community. We just came across this thread. It's a bit weird indeed, Let's continue to investigate this together.
To start with, you can change the language when you click on the arrow next to your name > settings.
We also recommend that you follow the steps here to make sure there's no unauthorized activity on your account.
Note: if you're on our free version it's possible that the ads show up in the queue.
Let us know how it goes so that we can continue to assist you need us to 🙂
Have a great continued weekend!
Thank you for response, so those kanji 広告 that say ads that show up in the queue are normal, I use a firefox web browser and ps4 to listen to spotify no app so the settings takes me to account profile and my region set USA, I do have Japanese installed in my web browser that I use but English is selected as my primary language in firefox settings, I guess I'm stuck using spotify in Japanese, I wish the website you had more control over the language setting instead of it deciding what language for you just because Japanese is in your web browser settings, Oh well maybe spotify well fix this silly problem in the future I can sort of get by with it in Japanese I can read some of what it says but now get lost when comes to options like making playlist or doing anything more than just listening to music now.
