How do I find the "Your Daily Mix " on a Laptop/PC?

I noticed the "Your Daily Mix" lists that get presented to you when you use the cell phone app, but I don't see on the full desktop application on my laptop. Can someone tell me where I can find these when using the applicaiton on a Windows laptop?

Thanks,

Hey there folks,

Thanks for posting about this here in the Community!

On the desktop app, you can find Your Daily Mixes in Your Library under Made for You.

For more info about Daily Mixes, we'd recommend taking a look at this support site article.

Keep in mind that if you're new to Spotify, it might take a bit before you see your Daily Mixes. There's more information about this at this Spotify Answer.

If you're having troubles seeing them on the desktop app, you can also check this Spotify Answer for some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Hope this helps! Don't hesitate to give us a shout if you'd like more help.

Have a lovely day 🙂

I WAS ABLE TO PLAY THE DAILY MIX FROM MY PHONE BUT SHOWED UP ON MY DESKTOP AND SPEAKERS. JUST PUSH PLAY ON YOUR PHONE AND SET THE MUSIC TO PLAY OFF OF YOUR DESKTOP VIA MOBILE OR DESKTOP.

Hey guys, figured I'd add this work around on here as its helped me listen to my Daily Mixes while at work on my desktop.

Make sure Spotify is open on your Desktop and follow the steps below:

1) Go to your Daily Mix on your mobile device, select the Daily Mix you'd like to listen to.

2) Then make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the playlist to load more songs into the playlist. Continue loading songs as desired.

3) Once you have a substantial amount of songs loaded into your Daily Mix, press Play.

4) On your Desktop app, at the bottom, click on "Devices Available" or "Your Devices Name" which will be next to your sound bar highlighted green. This will bring up a small window, select "This Computer".

5) Then, to the right of your audio bar, select the icon with three lines (thick top bar with two thinner lines below). This will bring up your current Play Queue.

You can now view all the songs you loaded into your Daily Mix from your mobile device on your computer! Enjoy!

Yet another vote for 'please add this to the desktop version.' Really like this new feature!

The answer below it's right, that feature only exists for Android and iOS, however you can play your selected ''Daily Mix'' playlist in your cell phone then select your PC in the ''Devices'' setting, so now you can listen it in your PC but controlled from your phone.

There are Spotify users who pay the same monthly price as you and me, yet they only use a desktop or laptop. These users are paying the same yet getting less. Workarounds miss the point.

Yeah, sometimes really looks like the mobile team and the desktop team doesn't communicate. You get a really good option on mobile but when you want that on your computer you don't get it. A little silly, Spotify.

Who knew this feature and it's lack of access on the desktop version of Spotify would spark such passionate and informed debate. If only we could....nevermind. But I am glad.

I find it hard to keep paying for Spotify when little things like this are overlooked. It's always the little things that bug me with Spotify. You paid your developers to put this feature on mobile devices, but not on PC/MAC versions. This is clearly intentional though its not apparent why. I can't think of any reputable business that would conduct themselves this way.

Spotify: You are not Apple, and you never will be. You provide music... thats it. You are a glorified jukebox. Give users what they want instead of acting like your service is so good that we'll keep buying... because we won't. If you guys ever go public while conducting business this way, expect your stock to flop. You founded yourself by pissing off the artists that are the blood and backbone of your service, and you'll end up burying yourself by pissing off your users. I really hope you guys sell out to a company who is willing to do this thing right.

Wow.  why are you even here?  Go to Apple Music and you'll come running back to Spotify begging to pay.  Apple Music might be one of the worst apps ever developed.  I LOVE Spotify.

You should really take a chill pill, is the lack of this feature something so deal breaking for you? It's a feature you didn't even know EXISTED. Besides people like it, so it's in Spotify best interest to put it in the web version, just wait a little.

Another thumbs-up to get this feature added to the Desktop/Laptop version! Loving it! Seems to match songs so much better than just song radio 🙂

Thanks!

I believe there is no way to save a daily mix from the Android App. Is this correct?

I bet the issue here is that the mix will get more songs if you keep listening.

I found that if I start listening to the mix on my phone, I can switch the output to my laptop.

I figured it out!  I have premium which may be one of the reasons "Your Daily Mix" doesn't appear on the web player.  HOWEVER, today I downloaded the desktop app, and lo and behold, there they are (along with more stuff)!  The web player is gone from my PC.

yep, windows has it too....

only taken a number of months to reach feature parity between phone and PC...

usually you'd write code for the PC side then port to a phone... but noooooooo....

Aren't you an ungrateful person. Yes, I waited for this for a long time as well but now that it's finally here I'm just happy! You could have anyways used it on desktop by directing phone output to desktop.

There are still people out there who don't have a smartphone/tablet. Some can't afford it, some simply don't care for them, and some are too young.

On top of this, you're about the 20th person in this thread suggesting the phone redirect. So you didn't read our replies but you expect us to read yours... ugh.

Not a fix but I saved the daily mix I was listening to on my phone to my playlists so I could continue to listening on my desktop. Not ideal, but it worked.

Spotify, we like this!!! Please add to the desktop versions too!

I used my phone to control the music playing on my laptop.  It works!
