How to disable crossfade

Hello,

I am using the desktop app on my windows 8.1 and I have the crossfade already disabled in settings, but when I pause and play the songs the crossfade is still there, how do I turn it off completely?

Try updating the app if possible. This is the only salution i can think of.

There's a lot of confusion about this. I believe on the Desktop the default Is Gapless, so it still sort of crossfades? I believe some have tried leaving Crossfade ON but setting the slider to 0 or 1? Give it a try!
