What if you like the artist, but hate a particular song? Or a song is under the wrong artist and Spotify hasn't fixed it even though it was reported? I don't like the song that isn't the artists, so I shouldn't have to block one of my favorite artists because the song is under the wrong artist. There should be a way to block specific songs not the artist as a whole. This needs to be fixed/readded
Why is Spotify choosing to deliver a different experience to their users depending on their device? There are no technical limitations that would prevent a consistent, positive UX so what's going on? There shouldn't be a clear need for a shakeup in design and development *leadership* from the perspective of the customer, but here we are.
I agree. The ability to block an artist is NOT a solution to wanting to block a song.
Yes I have hidden a song that I HATE and it still plays every single day.
I have hidden a song in the playlist and it still plays.
It seems ridiculous that you have to use the mobile version of the app to mark it as "Not Interested". Why can't we have this same functionality on the desktop application? That's where I do most of my listening anyways.
I've been using Spotify for a few years now and I am not liking that there is VERY different functionality between the app on my phone and the desktop app. I shouldn't have to go from my desktop to my phone to tell the app that I don't like a song. It should be cross platform. Please do better Spotify, if it's good enough for the Apple/android app it should be good enough for desktop and vice versa, Especially considering I pay for the premium account!
there is a "not interested" option, but it's a bit hidden. on the home screen (or sub-home screens) scroll down past all sections until you see the tiles that take the full width. the 3 dots are already visible and clicking on that will give you the option.
I just took a look, and you're spot on. I can do this on my phone, but not the desktop app.
Hey Spotify, I've been paying for premium for years now, bring back the functions! I am getting tired of paying more for LESS functionality! Bring back the functions you keep removing and stop changing the UI. It's incredibly irritating.
Hey Spotify, I've been paying for premium for years now, bring back the functions! There WAS the ability to dislike songs, where did it go? I am getting tired of paying more for LESS functionality! Bring back the functions you keep removing and stop changing the UI. It's incredibly irritating.
Why is it different on the phone compared to the desktop app?
Why can't I dislike songs anymore?
Why are you making it harder for me to enjoy music?
Why can't I create a playlist from a playlist (NOT song radio)?
