Hey Community!

Just a heads up that our Lyrics feature on desktop is currently unavailable as we're making some big improvements to the feature. We'll share more updates soon. 

We can also confirm our partnership with Musixmatch is ending. It was a great partnership and there is mutual respect between both companies as our business strategies move us each in different directions.

iOS users can get lyrics and annotations on some tracks via our partnership with Genius. Check out the info here!

Guys you can just download the MusixMatch Application on your computer... It integrates with Spotify...

This is not a solution ... it is just a WORKAROUND.

Plus, no one at Spotify update us regarding this issue.

It is time to be clear and say "No, we do not plan to bring back lyrics" if this is the case.

The MusixMatch Application is a poorly designed workaround. It trails on most songs, the interface is bad... It just sits over your screen, while it used to be intergraded with Spotify.
It also stays active even while you're not using it.

Spotify doesn't even care what we think.Recently I asked them what they meant by "soon", since a year has passed. The only asnwer I got was that they were sorry I felt this way, and shortly after that a questionair how thay performed. Really? Are they that thick?

Yea they are. Just cancel your spotify premium really. There are bunch of alternatives to spotify that you can use so you don't have to stick with them. I did the same I am not going to pay any money to a company that doesn't care about its custommers. The thing is if everyone did the samething as I did lyrics feature would come back in a heart beat. But people are just people... They never manage to gather around a idea and support eachother instead they like to get abused individually.

This is exactly the problem people have. Everyone on here is complaining but not really doing anything about it. I left about six months ago and went with Google Play and couldn't be happier.

pocketbook and I did, I am currently finishing out my remaining days.
years ago I signed on to premium for lyrics and music but Spotafly broke
the trust without warning or consideration this is incredible treatment of
customers I now feel free. there are many new things out there for sure so
good luck thanks for your support customer to customer since nothing was
ever going to come my way vendor to customer

Again, Spotify development is standing still. Student discount worldwide, Metro app and now the lyrics function. Nothing. Ever. Happens.

Today I can finally say that I'm free from Spotify!

The other apps already have lyrics on mobile, and this sh1tty app, in 2017, still don't have it, after thousands of request from their customer. Not to mention that only this particular app has actually gotten worse and worse as the time pass by, like milk.

I've switched to Apple Music and couldn't be any happier with it. Integrated into iOS, HAS LYRICS, and less bytes to stream but same quality AND saves my internet quota.

I just notice that spotify have no lyric at all, unfortunately i just bought premium with 3$ for 3 months. i'll say goodbye to spotify after this subscription end.
