Mix up a play list

Hey People...........New person here.  I just created a long play list that I want to share with my son who lives in LA. How can I mix all of the songs up in a play list?  I  select random to somewhat mix things up, but that's not quite doing it. .  Is there a way to mix up the order of the songs in a play list without moving each song individually by hand??  I've got aprox 20 songs each from 30  different bands, and when they're all grouped together, it's just too much, so I wanted to make everything just random order.  Any ideas for this old dude??

and putting on shuffle isn't quite doing it either?

The spotify shuffle function shuffles the order in which tracks in the playlist are played but this is only shown in the play queue. One way to work this is select one of the tracks and start to play it with shuffle enabled. Pause, then go to the play queue where you'll see a shuffled version of your playlist. 

Create a new empty playlist, highlight all the tracks in the queue and drag them into the new playlist and you have the shuffled playlist you want, I hope 🙂
