Multiple Track Selection as Radio Root

Multiple Track Selection as Radio Root

How is it that you can make a Radio root from a playlist that has multiple tracks but not by just selecting multiple tracks on any list and having that be a root? I could have sworn this used to be possible. Why should the user waste time creating a playlist, which they will then delete when all they want is a freaking root with from a concert of sources? What's the UX logic here (or lack of)?

Hey @nysteve,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

If you'd like to present your feedback regarding the option to select multiple tracks to start a radio playlist, make sure to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Spotify Community
  2. Click on Menu
  3. Click on Ideas > Idea submissions
  4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Let’s go

As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an Idea gets, the more likely it is for the Idea to be implemented. If you wish to learn more about how your feedback will reach Spotify, feel free to take a look at this article.

Hope you'll find this info useful. Have a nice day!

You can't get to the submission section unless you press MORE, not even see ALL. A dark UX tactic in an attempt at preventing people from posting things. You're better than this Spotify.
