Navigation broken after search

Whenever you use the search on the top with the desktop app, the search result page overrides your current page.

Examples:

You are listening your playlist and use search, then try to navigate back to that playlist using "navigate back button" on top left in the app, it doesn't go back to the playlist because using search replaced it. Instead it goes back to the page you were before your playlist where you used the search.

This happens with the homepage too, just open app and start searching, can't go back to homepage anymore from navigate button, have to use home icon.

Previously this worked so that using search created "new page" so navigation worked like a charm, as we are used in the browsers etc.

The problem started maybe few weeks ago.

Thanks for reporting this and apologies for the radio silence from our end!

Our tech folks have made some changes backstage so this should now be fixed 👍 Could you check if everything looks good on your end?

If it doesn't, consider performing a clean reinstall of the app - this will rule out any potential issues with corrupted cache and ensure you're running the latest version of Spotify available.
