Spotify was updated today, may 2nd, and since there's no audio playback.  The progress bar moves, but there's no audio. I checked the mute function in the app as well as in windows' mixer but they are both on. The behavior is the same with Spotify connect.  All other audio on my PC is working as normal (local files, web, apps) and connect works with other devices. Everything worked prior to the update, and I have tried to restart several times.

Thanks for reaching out to us. 

 

Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues.

 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you confirm if the web player has the same issue?
