Not opening at all

So I have a Macbook Pro with 10.9.2, and usually I don't close my spotify unless I turn my computer off. When my browse wouldn't work, I tried to shut it down and turn it back on to see if it would work then. When I tried to open it, it would make the icon darken then do nothing. It wouldn't give me an error message so I just uninstalled it then reinstalled it, however when I tried to reinstall it it won't work and it keeps retrying over and over again. Any tips?

I'm having the same problem.

After clicking the shortcut to launch the desktop version of Spotify I briefly see the "logging in" splash screen, but it disappears and Spotify never opens.

I'm running on Windows 7.
