Offline Song Storage keeps resetting to default.

My Question or Issue

Hey there, I just switched over from standalone Spotify to Spotify for Windows 10. I'm trying to change the offline song storage to the location where I had downloaded all my music from the standalone app. When I do so, Spotify prompts me to restart. I then click restart and the app closes and does not automatically reopen. When I manually reopen, the offline songs storage is set back to the default location.

I tried creating a junction linking the default location to my preferred location, but spotify then gives me an error that the download of offline songs failed.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.
