My Question or Issue

If my Spotify volume is 50%, and I increase it to 100% and then turn off my PC and turn it on again, Spotify will reopen with a volume of 50%. It seems to not store the volume state when turning off/on.

However, if I set my volume to 100% and then close, it does store the volume and correctly returns at the previous value.

This is likely due to how W11 sleeps and reopens apps when turning off and on again. I have not tested restart, but I believe restart is a bit more traditional and does not sleep apps?

Hey! All good? Welcome to the Spotify Community! It will be a pleasure to help you.

Trying here on my device, it stores the last volume I left before shutting down or restarting the computer. Have you checked your Spotify app for any pending updates? These updates usually bring fixes for bugs like these, I think it can help you!

Also, I recommend doing a clean reinstall of your Spotify app, it might work!

Keep me posted if it doesn't work! It will be a pleasure to continue helping you.
