People can't see what I listen to, but I can see them

For some reason my followers cannot see what I've been listening to, even with the option "Share my activity and what I listen to with my followers on Spotify" enabled and Private session disabled. I can always see what the people I'm following are listening to, though.

Spotify Unlimited, version 0.9.1.57.ge7405149, Windows 8 64 bit, both on my work and home computers.

Is there any solution to this?

There does appear to be an ongoing issue where the activity feeds for some users aren't updating correctly, its much discussed over on this topic.

I had the same problem, but in this instance my activity feed is working properly. The problem here is that people who are following me can also see their activity feed, but I do not show up in it.

Strange, what is your Spotify username?

Will try the low tech method of following you and see if it works for me haha!

Its pretty rare I get to say it, but its not you its your friends 😛 

Activity is working fine for me:

If your friends are having issues with seeing your activity, then a clean reinstallation on their systems is the best thing to suggest.

It says that I've listened to that, but I've listened to "The Used - Put Me Out", "Linkin Park - P5hng Me Aw*y" and "City and Colour - Two Coins" since.

If it's not too much trouble, can you confirm it for me? 🙂

I can't see anymore activity at the minute, but I think it might be down to the immense lag I am getting from this virus scanning.

I will keep an eye on it and report back 😉

Hi, I have the same problem where I can see what my friends are listening to but they can't see what I'm listening to... I've checked with all of them and they can't see me on their activity feed... I've tried reinstalling it, emailing spotify support, checking my settings, please help!! i'm also connected to facebook and I've checked all the settings to make sure they're on "public"

No one can seem to see what I am listening to but all my friends can see what other people are listening to. 

Please help, I've emailed the spotify support team and facebook but no one can seem to help.

Not sure I understand, if they are all on private your friends won't be able to see what you listen too.

Is it inside Spotify your friends can't see your activity or is it on Facebook itself?

It's inside of spotify, on the right sidebar where the activity feed is. My friends can't see what i'm listening to but I can see them.

I've already tried updating my spotify and reinstaling it a bunch of times.

I don't know what else I could do...:(

is it maybe because they dont have the most updated version of spotify? would that affect whether they can see what i'm listening to or not?

I already tried reinstalling it a bunch of times and it started to malfunction once I got a macbook. 

My acitivy feed worked on my PC... please help me I have tried everything!!
