Play on other devices annoyances

Play on other devices annoyances

Picture this scenario; I am listening to spotify on my laptop headphones at work, I then fire up Spotify on my phone in order to leave the office for lunch and have some tunes on the go. Spotify then dutifully starts playing the last track at full blast to an officeful of people. Desparately pressing the volume down button CONTROLS THE VOLUME ON THE DEVICE ON WHICH THE MUSIC *ISN'T* PLAYING thus having absolutely no effect of the music blaring out of my phone. I panicked and almost chucked the phone out of the window to avoid further embarrassment.

Please stop this. If I start another instance of Spotify, do not immediately start playing on it until I press play on the new device. Thanks.

Hi! I really like that idea, similar things have definitely happened to me in the past. What you might want to do though is submit this idea to the Idea Submissions forum after looking around to see if there's anything similar first, hopefully it goes through!

Let me know if/when you do it, I'd love to vote for it!

Thanks for reading! If this worked for you, please mark this as the solution, this way others will be able to find the answers to their problems in the future! 🙂
