Playback keeps stopping

Playback keeps stopping

Recently, songs on desktop only keep stopping (not pausing) mid-playback.
My playback quality is set to automatic, I've reinstalled Spotify, and I've got a good internet connection. Any advice?

Thanks for writing about this here in the Community.

 

Have you got Spotify open on multiple devices (e.g. phone, laptop/PC) at the same time when this happens, by any chance? Mind double-checking and - if that's the case - logging out and force-closing the app everywhere to then logging in to only one device and testing this again? 

 

If this doesn't do the trick, please share the devices you've experienced this with as well as their operating system versions and your current Spotify version across all the devices.
