My Question or Issue

My Spotify app had not been working properly for the last few days, where it would randomly list songs across all playlists and albums as "unavailable", despite me not having a VPN on, and having downloaded them to my device (with premium service). I encountered that issue today, and when I used the Spotify support instructions listed here to fix the solution, it still did not work. I did 2 clean reinstalls of the app, as suggested by spotify support staff on other forums, yet nothing has worked. This is very troubling as I have never had this issue occur in the 5 years of using the platform, and my 2 years of being a premium member.

In the attached screenshots;

  • One of them includes a screenshot of what it looks like from the web browser, where everything similarly works fine, with no issues on any songs or playlists. (The app and account is working perfectly on my mobile app as well)
  • One is the view from my PC App, where I am encountering the issue, where Spotify is not properly syncing with my account, as it shows my recently listened to, but no playlists or profile settings are there.

One message Spotify kept giving me was that I needed to disable any VPNs or turn the offline mode off, or any of the common error messages, but none of those seemed to fix the issue. I disabled my VPN, shut down and restarted my laptop, logged out and signed back in 2+ times (as I've read it syncs the device with the account), and yet no fix.

Any help or support would be greatly appriciated

update; restarting my computer and waiting for about 20 minutes seemed to do the trick.
