Podcast comment section not showing threads

My Question or Issue

When I open a podcast episode I cannot see the threads for each comment, just the original comment. For example, I'm looking at one now and it says there are 8 comments but only 5 show up below. I know because I wrote one of those thread comments on my iPhone app. See screenshot

It looks like the screenshot wasn't correctly attached to your post. Would you mind trying again?

 

Also, have you noticed the same behavior on your iPhone or is it only happening in the desktop app?

The issue is only on the desktop app. It's fine in the iPhone app.

Here's my screenshot. 8 comments, only 5 shown. The other 3 comments are thread replies under the comments listed here.

This issue is happening on all podcast episodes, no matter the podcast though.

Thanks for keeping in touch. 

 

We've tested this from our end and we were able to replicate the behavior. It seems like the mobile app comments feature is more complete than the desktop one. 

 

In the mobile app you can respond or react to any comment, therefore you can also see all of the comments (including responses to them). Since the comment you made was a reply and not a new comment, most likely that’s why you’re not seeing it on the desktop app.


The internal teams are already aware of this situation. Thank you very much for the feedback!
