Prevent folder tree from opening on the side panel - Windows 10

Prevent folder tree from opening on the side panel - Windows 10

Everytime I open a playlist from the folder view, the folder tree is opened on the side panel and I can't see the other folders easily. It doesn't occur on web app, which is the right behavior. It needs fixing.

Hey @abg88

I also agree this would be a great feature.

Similar ideas have been suggested here and here, unfortunately, hasn't gained any votes and have been marked as inactive.

If you feel you can make a better presentation that will get more votes, you can submit a new idea in the Ideas Submission board : )

Nah, it's been 6 years since the first request and the devs and the users didn't care. My workaround is using a root folder so I can navigate easily through my playlists using alt+arrows. Left panel is now almost useless to me.
