My Question or Issue).

In the past I could select my VAGNER 940DAB stereo in Spotify (Bluetooth).
Now VAGNER is not present in Spotify.

Still I can play music on my VAGNER by selecting "This computer" and connect VAGNER (Bluetooth) to my computer.
Please help.

Hi @Crille31

Thanks so much for reaching out, and Welcome to the Community! Let's take a look together.

Does the same thing happen when trying to connect through another mobile device as well? Did your VAGNER stereo disappear from the Connect menu or is it not responsive when trying to connect to it?

We'd recommend trying with another device to test if the same will happen there too, also you should try testing if this will also occur when connected to a different network connection. If you don't have access to one, you can start a HotSpot from your phone and try that way.

Also its worth mentioning that this might have something to do with your devices cached data, so clearing it should help - see how here.

Hope this helps out, keep us posted

Hi,

See attached picture snapshot from my Smartphone.
Vagner is assosiated to my phone.
On Laptop Vagner is not visible.

If I remember correct the Vagner was one of possibled to select shown
speakers in Spotify in the past.

Maybe bluetooth devices are not shown in Spotify as a choise. Only WiFi
devices.

Hi @Crille31

Thanks for getting back to us.

With Connect, you can play Spotify on your speakers, TVs, laptops, or other devices using the Spotify app on your phone or tablet as the remote control.

There are two ways to Connect, once two devices are paired. One is when using two devices where you can log into Spotify - when logged in to the same Spotify account you can control the devices without them being on the same network.

The other being when using devices that cannot br logged into, you would need to be on the same WiFi network to. Check out if your device is supported here.

We did not receive the screenshot you mentioned, could yo try sending it over one more time via Google Drive. Just send us a link of the screenshot from Google Drive, just make sure the access to the file is set to public, otherwise we wont be able to see it. Did any of the troubleshooting work, what were your findings?

Keep us posted.

Hi,
My point was connections to Bluetooth devices.
Bluetooth devices are not shown in Spotify list.

Hey there @Crille31

Thanks for getting back to us.

If you can't find your device in the link @MartinT sent previously, it might no longer be supported with Connect.

However, if it has Bluetooth, you should still be able to use it by following these steps.

Keep us posted on how it goes.
