Queue gets stuck

Queue gets stuck

Windows 10, Spotify Desktop v1.0.77.338.g758ebd78

This has been happening for quiet some time and I couldn't really be bothered reporting it because I haven't had a great experience with doing that in the past.....

Every so often I can be happily queueing music then suddenly spotify will get stuck on a track, my queue will have loads of tracks in it (not duplicates) but will then just repeatedly play a track. Pressing next will still stay on the current track even though the queue shows a different rack is due next.

I dont know if its related but often I'm playing a playlist or channel and I discover artists and queue up new music, under normal operation these queued tracks will be inserted in front of the orignating playlist (thats what Id like).

Hey @user-removed

That's strange! Sounds a bit as if 'Repeat One' got enabled randomly.

I'd suggest doing the clean reinstall to clean off the potential bugs in your Spotify installation. Try this:

1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.

Let me know how it goes! 🙂

The repat icon never gets activated that I could see. OK Ill give a re-install a whirl

A re-install did not work. I have been happily listening this morning then suddenly this Mark Knopfler track is repeating despote the queue having a numbe rof tracks in it (see attached).

If I press next the same track will play. If I then double click the next track in the queue it may be fixed

Try going to the web player (the queue contents should be synced to the web player too) and try playing music there. Does the issue happen there too? 🙂

Keep me posted!
