Radio based on playlist not actually using songs similar to the playlist

I made a radio station based on a playlist, but the results are nothing like the playlist in question. To give you an example, imagine having a playlist consisting of Coldplay and ending up with Pitbull as your results. 

 Is this a bug or intented behavior?

I've heard of Radio producing the odd unusual reccomendation, but never to this extent.

How big is the playlist you're starting Radio from?

Try mixing up the tracks a bit and trying again, any imporvement?

I have also found when getting weird behavior dragging and dropping all of the tracks into a new playlist and then starting playlist radio on the new playlist gives better results for whatever reason.
