The New Desktop App

Heya!
I understand this is the desktop section, but I'm having issues syncing played musices/playlists between instances (so kinda involving desktop issues as well).

I mean, if I start playing a playlist on the phone app, when I get to my desktop it simply never syncs up automaticaly, I need to actually play on the phone (or likewise, on the PC), to sync the other instance. Is this intended? Would be awesome to have them syncing between them since I'm using the same account, so I can continue my playthough just swaping the instance.
