Recently Played empty

I have looked been searching for a resolution to my problem, but can't find anything.

1) There is not any content under my Recently Played Artists and my activity is not showing up in feeds. My settings are set for my activity to show, but nothing is there.

2) Under Messages, it is only showing the most recently sent/received message. Everything else is gone.

This is the first time I have used Spotify on my new computer that is running Windows 8. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hi. Is anything else missing - playlists or subscription maybe? It sounds like you may have logged in with a username instead of facebook or created a new account some other way.
