Remove sources for local files

Solved!

Remove sources for local files

The only source for local files I choose is a folder on my Desktop. But when I go on local files Spotify shows me 6k Songs with over 11mil Hours playtime. How can I remove them from my local files?

Hey @luluhasi69

Were other sources allowed before? 🙂

It's possible to remove them by deleting a specific file in Spotify - the program will rebuild the file next time using the allowed sources.

Do the following:

1. Close Spotify

2. Go to %appdata% in your file browser. You'll end up in Appdata/Roaming

3. Find Spotify, go into it. Open the Users folder and open the 123456-user inside that folder.

4. The 12345-user is a folder with your account information, including local files.

You should see a file called local-files.bnk in there. Remove it.

Now you can start Spotify again.

Hope this helps!
