SD Card_Transferring Spoty

SD Card_Transferring Spoty

My 5 year and 5 month old HTC Facebook First phone passed away in the early hours of Sunday, October 21; and, I had to buy a new Moto g6 play phone today.

So, I am currently downloading all of the songs that I saved in my spotify lists since 2017 until 3 days ago that I had after installing Spotify app on the g6 phone via public wifi.

To Spotify techies, my music playlist file is around/near 6 GB of music data.

424 downloaded out of 2,010 songs (maybe).

I purchased an SD Card for Spotify and variouse video file to use in my tablet or in my phone.  33% complete

It is too time consuming and costly to have continously download songs (even when songs disappear for some unknown reason  and re-download.

(Android Something, Windows 10)

My Question or Issue

Please allow users the flexibilty of putting Spotify and songs on an SD Card to make it easier for us and our respective wallets.  It means that entities that offer wifi wont fill the need to slow down or turn-off their wifi.

Is there a way for the Spotify system to identify a unique SD card serial number and be treated as one of the listed devices?
