Social preferences won't save

Hey everyone, this is my first time using the Spotify forum so sorry if I am posting in the wrong place/way.

Anyways, Spotify does not save my preferences on the desktop app. I first noticed this problem with making my account public vs private-- the option to "publish my activity to Spotify" is always turned off when I open up the app, and I have to manually turn it back on each time. This is really annoying as I like to share music with my friends.

I am using a Dell Inspiron with Windows 10, if that helps at all. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it does nothing.

Thanks!

I have the same issue but in reverse!

Every time I turn off "Automatically make new playlist public" and "Show my current top artists" they turn themselves back on after I've restarted the program.

I could understand if Spotify forgot ALL of my preferences but oddly it's just these two...

Hopefully we'll get an answer or it'll be fixed via an update.
