Song duplicated in queue

My Question or Issue

 My issue is a wierd one. When I listen to a playlist, the queue will automatically add the current song to the playlist. The issue here is that it is always placed at the top of the queue. So in effect looping the song.

I have tried shuffling, playing in order, putting the whole playlist on repeat. I have no idea why it happens.

After further messing around, it seems that the songs are being REMOVED from the playlist, then placed back in the playlist and subsequently put back in the queue where it was, thus causing the loop.

So the issue is that the song leaves the playlist and placed back in. Really wierd.

Apears to have been going on for 8 days.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. If that doesn't work please try this more advanced guide 🙂
 
If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
