My Question or Issue

 A few weeks ago, the function allowing search results to be sorted alphabetically stopped working. It seems this was a Spotify Community issue back in 2015 and the Spotify team's response was that a fix was being rolled out. The more recent problem seems to have started after an automatic Spotify update.

Sorting playlists alphabetically etc. is still working no problem. Most search queries redirect to this. But the playlists are not the problem. It's the Search feature.

For example, in researching songs of particular artists as possible additions to my playlists, there is so much duplication of songs by version scattered throughout the list that it's very inefficient and takes forever. If I had a photograhic memory, it would be no problem, but I don't. Previously, the alphabetizing feature allowed song versions to be all grouped together, making it so much easier. Now, it's a complete pain.
