Spotify Connect broken ...again....

I'm getting really tired of this. Every couple of months the Spotify Connect implementation gets totally broken and the desktop app can no longer find my Marantz SR5009 receiver. It happened 2 or 3 weeks ago after an update. I hoped the next update would fix it, but it didn't.

It's always the same issue:

I have to use my tablet to start streaming - only then does my receiver appear in the Spotify desktop application on my PC as well. This is clearly an issue with the application itself. Again. For the 5th time at least.
