Spotify Modifies Some Local Files Information When Syncing (Name, Artist, Cover Art)

When I sync/import my local files onto Spotify, some songs will have a different nam, artist or cover art. This is sometimes annoying because I would get confused since the information of the song listed are changed; and I want to know if there's an option in settings where I can turn this off.
