Spotify Premium Question

Hi, I am thinking about upgrading from my free account to the Premium account.

I read where it says download to listen offline.

Does this give me the ability to download music and burn it to a cd or add it to my mp3 player? Or does anything I download for offline listening stay in the program?

Spotify uses a specialized database to store songs split among multiple files for optimal performance on all devices. When you have a lot of tracks, devices can slow down, so it's awesome to see that these files are cataloged this way. The files are encrypted to prevent tampering, ensuring a great experience for all Spotify users. So, unfortunately, you won't be able to access the mp3 files of songs you download.
