Spotify Settings arent saving

Hey, i turned off the setting that my friends can see what i´m currently hearing, but now I want to turn it on again. When I do, everytime i close the Programm and open it again, the setting changes to the old, where my activity isnt publishing, like the setting isnt being saved. Would appreciate some help!
