My Question or Issue

The songs are not playing in the app, my playlists are all empty and it also cannot detect my other devices. I tried to use the web Spotify. I can play songs there but cannot search singers or songs in web. I have tried plenty of method from the forum, clean reinstall, reset hosts file and install from the windows store. Unfortunately, none of these works for my case. Hope someone can help me, this has been happening for at least a month or more. Thank you all.

Thanks for writing about this here in the Community. 

 

Just to double-check and also considering you tried a number of fixes already, is your Windows 10 fully up-to-date? If you're not sure, take a look at any available updates before doing another clean reinstall of the app. 

 

One more thing you could do after is deactivating hardware acceleration (click on the three-dots menu on the top left corner in the Spotify Desktop app > View > Hardware Acceleration) as that might also do the trick here.
