My Question or Issue

Spotify now can't play after installing the Windows software update. What's going on?

 

Edit: Problem was fixed by Spotify.

thanks for reaching out !

 

This message is presented when the app is having issue finding a soild network connection.

 

Please make sure you do not have any active win firewall / other firewall / anti virus installed and blocking the app (make sure Spotify is in the exceptions if needed).

 

Then, perform a clean reinstall of the app following this steps.

Just jumping in to add some info to what @OneByBoo already said. We also suggest you restart the Internet connection device (e.g. wireless router) in order to reset the network connectivity. 

 

In case you experience the same - try switching to a different network to see if the issue is network-related.
