Spotify not downloading

So i recently got a new pc and im downloading all of my apps again and i was trying to download Spotify.

I clicked download and it finished so i clicked "open", when i clicked it something popped up saying "Spotify is already installed, would you like to open it?", I clicked "yes" and it didnt do anything afterwards.

I've tried redownloading and deleting the files to try again and nothing has worked. I'm not sure what to do

Try following these steps to completely remove your Spotify installation and reinstall it.

If you get the same result with the version from the Spotify website, try downloading the Microsoft Store version.
