Spotify not showing album art from local images, album art is in the metadata

My Question or Issue

I've got a few local files that have album art attached (verified with windows media player, itunes, and mp3tag), but spotify won't pickup or display the album art. It'll pick up some of them but not all.

Images are png and jpeg, with sizes ranging from 280kb to 2.5mb, spotify displays some of the larger images but not the smallers, file type doesn't seem to effect it either because it'll show one jpeg and one png.

Tags are in ID3 v2.3 format.
