Spotify web player broken on firefox

Spotify web player broken on firefox

I've cleared all cookies, cache, storage etc for spotify.com
disabled any plugin from running on the website
rebooted the pc
logged in firefox (version ~108) with my username and password
after being logged in, I'm being redirected to the player
only the skeleton loads, songs album and playlists aren't loading
if search for a specific song, the results page remains black
in the developer tools I see a couple of failed requests, in particular for the domains
- api.spotify.com
- spclient.wg.spotify.com
the error in both cases is NS_ERROR_DOM_ABORT_ERR

I've tried to log in in an incognito mode window, in order to see what happens if no browser plugin is active, to no avail

I've checked the windows host file, and there is no entry for spotify

Hey @francesco9001

I don't know much about browsers or the web player, but I'll do my best to provide some troubleshooting ideas.

Have you tried another browser? How about another device?

Is this happening on a personal device on a personal network, or are you on a work/school device, or a work/school network?

I've seen some other complaints about the Web Player recently. Could you provide some screenshots of the webpage when this problem is occurring?

Thanks for the reply @kaworu_bloodpaw
Spotify is indeed accessible on the network I am on, it's the web player on firefox that is broken
I've attached a screenshot, I can also provide a log from the network tab if you wish

Hm. Do any other browsers work?

Yes, Chrome and Edge can load the page correctly and play music
