I've been trying to fix this issue for the past hour and im beginning to get frustrated. Ive been trying to play a few songs I downloaded in spotify but every time I try I get the blue message in the subject on the top. The songs work fine in WMP but not spotify, ive never had issues with adding local files before, and my previous songs still work. 

No, deleting my local files doesn't help. I've tried it multiple times and it does't do anything.

I'm about to move to another music streaming program because this is horrible support.

I am also having this issue. Files that used to play fine on mobile (properly added as Local Files on Desktop) won't play on my iOS 11 iPhone 8 Plus.
