Trouble installing Spotify

Hello! I am having trouble installing Spotify after uninstalling it to do a clean reinstall. I am on Windows 7 and keep getting "Error code: 18". It says Spotify is unable to install because files to be written are in use by another process. I have removed every old trace of Spotify and closed every program that I've heard might interfere. This is very frustrating as I use Spotify everyday and I would greatly appreciate some help!

(I have seen similar threads but they were old and nothing in them worked for me!)
