UI empty area under tracks list view

My Question or Issue

There is an empty area at the bottom of / under the tracks list view on desktop Spotify apps both on Windows 10 / 11 and MacOS, regardless of the version, I have 4 computers and it's there on all. It seems to serve no purpose but it also won't go away. This is a problem especially on the small Surface Pro screen as it prevents showing a full album at once. Zooming out more is not an option, this is already plenty small.

Is there a way to get rid of the area or is it a design choice?

Thanks for reaching out.

Looks like you're on Spotify Free. The empty area you're seeing on your end usually contains a banner ad, it's just that one hasn't loaded yet.
