Using multiple accounts on the same PC

I'm using it in Firefox, Win 10. the app is for my wife's Duo, the browser is for mine. Can I install two different instances of the app?

Hi, @Shepherd_Book,

Welcome to the Spotify Community! Heads up: I've moved your post to a separate thread.

Currently, only one instance of the Spotify app can be installed at a time, but using another web browser might be a viable workaround in your case, so feel free to give it a try.

If you're having issues with the app asking your wife to log in on every restart, perhaps another program is clearing Spotify's cache. In that case, make sure to add Spotify as an exception. If this happens in the browser, you might have toggled on automatic data & cache clearing. This can be disabled in the browser's settings.

Hope you found this info helpful. Cheers 🤘

Exact same situation here.

On a shared PC, I use Firefox for Spotify, wife use the Spotify app.

I have been a customer since the very beginning of Spotify and always thought they would allow quickly switching between profiles or more instances of the Spotify app, but it never happened.

Such a bummer
