Voice Control forWindows 10 Desktop PC Not Available?

Voice Control for Windows 10 Desktop PC doesn't seem to be available as I never see the microphone icon in the Spotify app. I tried allowing the microphone in settings but it never appears in the Spotify app. I've tried setting spotify as my default music app, but that didn't work and in fact, Windows didn't allow me to set spotify as the default music app.

I also tried using Cortana for spotify voice control, but it seems that Cortana only works for a very few hardware platforms and standard windows PC with windows 10 is not one of the available platforms. I tried it anyway and it did't work.

Is there some way I can make voice control in the windows desktop spotify app work, either with or without Cortanta (prefereably without)?

If there's no fix available now, will you have a fix for this in the near or far future?

This feature you mentioned is not available yet in the platform. However, a similar idea has already been suggested in our Ideas exchange beard here and it's actually set as "Good idea, vote for it" - feel free to add your vote and subscribe to it!  Any changes or updates will be posted in that thread.

If you think your idea should be considered as separate, feel free to submit it again highlighting how your idea is distinct from the existing one.
