Volume slider won't work

My Question or Issue

As others have posted, my volume slider (and song location slider) do not work. I have properly uninstalled/reinstalled twice, and I have toggled the Hardware Acceleration to off each time. The sliders work on my phone, but not on my desktop. What is the fix for this?

Since you mention this only occurs when using the app on your Windows device, we'd recommend first making sure of the following:

• Try a soft reset of your device.
• The Spotify app is on the latest version available.
• Your device is up to speed with any OS or firmware updates.
• Your sound and graphic card drivers are updated.
