Waiting for users, message on spotify connect device

It happens to me all the time 😞 I am uable to connect to the device from spotify, and the device says waiting for users. Whatever I seem to do, the only workaround is to reset the device, which is a lot of job as I need to re-enter wi-fi key and so on. Isn't there a method to reset the connection a device has towards spotify!?? This device is a speaker/radio, which means it has no spotify app, only built in support for spotify connect.
