Win10 Content Not Available 2022

Win10 Content Not Available 2022

Plan Premium, Family

Country Canada

Device Windows 10 PC, Pixel 6 - both were manually reset and flashed THIS MORNING.

Date: For the google search results, March 21 2022

Issue: Windows 10, either version of the app, every single song in every playlist, local files or spotify cloud song, is not available to play. Everything results in "Content not available".

If you play the song on ANY DIFFERENT device, then go back to the PC, the song plays fine on the PC, but you still can't double click the playlist entry to restart or play a different song. You have to use the mobile or web interfaces, to operate the UX of the app.

I have tried: Rebooting PC, In and Reinstalling Official App, Reinstalling MS Store App, Clearing caches, "clean reinstall" of both installations, even REINSTALLING WINDOWS ON THE DISK.

This is 100% clearly an issue on your end, if reinstalling Windows did not fix the issue. If you think I can forward ports on my CISCO firewall, reinstall Windows 10 on my PC, and flash the Android ROM to my phone using Fastboot, and did not check if my internet connection was working or "have you tried turning it off and back on again", quit your job now and go home, you need a colouring book, not a job.

I have attached two screenshots showing the same song playing fine in the web app and not on either of the standalone apps.

The Spotify desktop application is a complete joke. Try not to ever let them update the app. They provide nothing new, remove features, and break things. I wouldn't expect this to be fixed anytime soon.
