My Question or Issue

Today, I tried to install Spotify on a new (to me) desktop at work.  First, I used the download exe file.  Once it was downloaded, it would open, but only show a faint frame, and no actual content.  Then, I went and downloaded it through the Microsoft Store.  Same issue, it shows it's open and running, but it won't actually show anything, just the outline of the window.  Restarted my computer, same issue.  Uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled through both methods, and same issue.

Hey @crystalline15, welcome to the Community.

Hope you are doing great!

Does Spotify window appear at all? Is it completely black or transparent?

Please try to press the ALT key on your keyboard to bring the Menu Bar, go to View tab and click on Hardware Acceleration to disable it.

If possible, try to attach a screenshot of the issue you are having.

Let me know how it goes 🙂
