desktop app not loading

For months now I have not been able to launch the desktop app. Using a Dell laptop with Windows 10 Version 21H2, all updates installed. When I launch the app it flashes a few times and then closes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled twice, logged out/in more times than I can count, cleared cookies and caches. Not sure what else to try.
When I play in the browser my Home screen doesn't load (but I can play music through search and Your Library menus.
I have a premium Duo plan.
