desktop app not loading

desktop app not loading

For months now I have not been able to launch the desktop app. Using a Dell laptop with Windows 10 Version 21H2, all updates installed. When I launch the app it flashes a few times and then closes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled twice, logged out/in more times than I can count, cleared cookies and caches. Not sure what else to try.

When I play in the browser my Home screen doesn't load (but I can play music through search and Your Library menus.

I have a premium Duo plan.

What version of Spotify are you using? The x64 from Spotify's download page or the MS Store version?

I had the MS Store version. Just uninstalled and installed direct from Spotify's download page. Same problem persists.

Thanks for your reply. 

 

We suggest that you check your firewall and make sure Spotify is set as an exception.
 

If the issue persists, we'd recommend disabling any antivirus or ad-blocking software, and turning off any VPNs if in use.
