Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community. 

Just to confirm, does this happen across devices or only on your PC? Also, does this happen with all songs or only with some specific ones?  Keep in mind that lyrics may not be available on all songs and devices.

Also, could you send us a screenshot of what you see when you click on the mic icon in the desktop app? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.
