system: windows 10

problem : I have a thousand songs in my playlist, I listen to a song from the middle of my playlist, and when the song ends, it goes back to the top of the playlist instead of going to the next song

I'd suggest going through a Spotify reinstall, it could be a random error in its files causing the issue. 🙂

Try checking if you have shuffle or repeat enabled. 🙂

 

If that didn't help, please give a screen recording of what's happening on your end.
Have you sorted the playlist in any way?

Together with sharing a screen recording of what's happening on your end, would you mind providing us with the following info?

  • All the devices you experience this with

  • Exact version of their operating system

  • Exact version of Spotify on each device
